For the first time in history, Svaneti has welcomed the largest Chinese trekking group. The 4-day journey started from Mestia on October 2 and will conclude on October 5.

On October 2, the visitors who arrived in Georgia departed from Mestia to the Mulakhi community, where a festive welcoming ceremony was held for them.

On October 5, the closing ceremony of the 4-day trek will take place in Ushguli, where a total of 103 guests will be hosted.

All of Svaneti is delighted that interest is so high, and travelers from China are actively planning trips to the region.
